But it does give you the flexibility to use flowers and and things that aren't maybe in season you don't have to get around from... 'Cause like the peonies that we got, I think came in from, Russia, if I remember correctly. But that was the only place we could get them from.

There was a particular coral-colored rose that it was pretty important to the, f the vibe the feel of the wedding. And, the bride, could care less And you know the the mom, right She was super laid back about It It was m all me, and I couldn't get that c a particular colored rose, uh in Charleston. So I made arrangements to order them here in Lexington And

Mother the bride, uh was gonna pick the flowers up and drive them down. which was very kind. She goes to the florist, wholesaler AKA Bonnie who was just mentioned and said how'd she say it Bonnie called me and she said, quote, "This crazy redheaded bitch won't take these flowers." cause they smell Now here's the problem I am h halfway to Charleston in the Carolina mountains somewhere. So I can't get the flowers, right? She got to bring those flowers. She said, "I've done everything." And if anybody knows Bonnie, she's very convincing. She said, "I can't get that bitch to take the flowers." I mean these are her words, not my words. So I call the mother of the bride. and The mother of the bride is sashaying down the beaches of the Carolinas somewhere with, I hear the wind whispering and I say Hey bride's mother Linda we can't get your crazy-ass redheaded friend to take the flowers because they quote, "smell." So she called the friend, and the friend still refused to take the flowers. Now She took a portion of them, like a third of them, 'cause I guess a third doesn't smell as much as... a whole I don't know. But then we made another arrangements to get, another person to pick them up, a guy. And the-- point all this the flowers did show up, but at the time, um went with me and the kids went with us. So Chloe was three years old, and Ian was five years old. and Chloe, particularly, I mean Ian then The roses were also used as petals going down the, uh those particular coral colored roses were going down the aisle. I had my five-year-old the petals off the roses to put them in the basket true story because the flowers showed up, oh, I don't know, about an hour before the wedding.

Well the last wedding we did was Between Christmas and New Year's so it was evergreens and magnolia-oriented And well again we'll share pictures It was one of the most beautiful weddings and it was all faux And the, the mother of the bride, who is not a cheap person by any means, she she she was able to to use those arrangements and then use them for decorations in her house and gift them to her friends and Which I thought was a lovely way to, um repurpose, The arrangements, and I thought that was a, that was a a gesture.
