S3:E8 Artificial Intelligence in Design
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This week we are discussing AI, artificial intelligence. And unless you've been living under a rock, which sometimes I wish I could, you probably hear about it because it is everywhere. It's now integrated into everything. And understandably so, people have a lot of questions. There's a lot of things that we don't understand. Half the internet fears it. A lot of people think it's the destruction of the world. Other people think it's gonna be the best thing that ever happened, and somehow your crazy uncle thinks that it can read your minds through Facebook. I mean, there are a lot of, we'll just say interesting things that people have to say and what they believe about it right now.
So today, I try to walk Stuart and Duane through what I understand of it today. And we talk about it in design, we talk about how it can be used working on the home, We discuss why it's an amazing thing, why it's a terrifying thing, why it could be an amazing starting point for thoughts, brainstorming, all of those kinds of things. and why that can be a disaster. And y'all, I cannot wait for you all to see the picture that it made. Stuart did this. It's so funny. It's in the show notes. Make sure you look.
Along the way, we learn a lot, we laugh a lot, and I gotta tell you, I think probably one of us, and I'm just gonna say it's the bald one, I think he probably asked ChatGPT when he got home if when it sleeps it counts digital sheep. Now, full disclaimer out there, none of us are AI experts, and this technology is changing so fast, literally week by week new things are coming out. And so by the time that you listen to this podcast, it could be completely out of date. It's, it's crazy how fast this is working. So before it gets too much further ahead, let's get to it

Welcome back everybody. Now, full disclaimer out there, none of us are AI experts, and this technology is changing so fast, literally week by week new things are coming out. And so by the time that you listen to this podcast, it could be completely out of date. It's, it's crazy how fast this is working. So before it gets too much further ahead, let's get to it The idea for today's podcast is AI, and Dwayne is the one that brought this topic up. And I want to know what your all's understanding of what AI or artificial intelligence, for those if they're, if they're not clear on what AI is, what that is.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408start with a, a little side note uh, today is, um, learning, uh, stuff for the elderly infirm for like, AKA me. I, uh, I've been hearing this term nepo baby, okay? So I think I know what it means. I think it's nepotism nepo baby. Nepo
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. Yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yep. You not heard it?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408No.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408elderly over there, I'm looking at
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yep.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408not heard it. Okay, that's fine. Okay. Okay, good. So nepo baby, I think is a nepotism baby, a, a person who has been given a leg up because of nepotism. Is that correct?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Correct.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay. That's all I wanted to know, so I now know I am a nepo baby. There
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408You're a nepo baby?
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. Yeah. Who knew? Who knew? Okay. These, these, these things are just thrown out there and people use these words, and I'm like, "I think I know what it means, but I don't know." So I just wanted clarification on that one. Okay. Now we can talk
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I love that we're just educating the masses today, nepo baby and now AI.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, you
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you know the grade schoolers, you know, "Six, seven,"
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Ugh.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm. you know what the new one is?
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408No.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408well, I know what our niece is saying now. I don't know what...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you the birthday." Mm-hmm.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I hate small children.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it could be you--
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408be the inflection of, "Oh, you the birthday," meaning you are all about everything, or, "Mm, you the birthday," meaning you think it's about you. Mm-hmm, that's the new one.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408will... good. Don't-- We all are too elderly and have too much body hair to, for us to ever to use that. Okay, so let's move on.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408shave.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Oh, okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, okay.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408So there's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408okay.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408AI. AI is destroying the world taken over and its mind is better than you ever can imagine, and it's so smart, and it's gonna take over robots, and it's gonna eat people, and it's gonna take all the water out of the ocean.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408And they're building it on Texas farms, and people are hating it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408And there's like, it's using up energy and it's bad. And then people, I think, are creating like AI images of themselves so they think they look prettier. And it's a useful tool, and I don't know how to get there, and I don't know what it means, and that's AI in my world.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408the world.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, you're,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Spot
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408with a lot of people.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay. I don't know it's all true, by the way. I'm just
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. Oh, no, I, I'm-- Yeah,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I, um, yeah,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you're just on the same page, mm-hmm, with a lot of people.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408But is that true or is that, that fake news
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408lot of
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408as they say?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Who's they? You know, there's a lot... Because there's gonna be a lot more. There's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408there's a lot... Okay, so there's gonna be a lot to learn today. There's gonna be a lot to learn today. I'm excited about this because I love to... I, I, I think this is gonna be interesting.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408off, well, how did this conversation start at all? And it was through me, the most technology-challenged person.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and you heard about it and couldn't do it, so you asked somebody else
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408no. N- well, that does sound like my MO, but it did not. Actually, I give you credit. That does sound like me, but that's not how it happened.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408people.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408below me knew to, need to do the stuff for me, so you understand that, right, Stuart? And let's get that straight today.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408because
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408God.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408week is being your personal assistant.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Thank you is all I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408to that. No problem.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Uh-huh.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408but what is it, what is that term, uh, this person, "It's your birthday." See? Was
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408That,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408used in a correct way?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408appropriately. Yes. Yes.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay, so this started from, uh, about the third time, this really kicked in, I went, "Huh," that, uh, a customer to walk in
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408say,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408they say, "I generated a, a design or a room,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408through AI to help me understand what, uh, my room should look like. What do you think?" And they show it to me and I go, "Oh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408"Oh,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408pretty good. It's pretty good. It kind of helps you." And it's
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408say, "Well,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408yeah, Lord, if you use
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408use that?
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408good guide. Well, I didn't think much about it first time, second time. Third time, I was like, "Oh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408like, "Oh,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408this thing's gunning for me, right? This is gonna take my job." Because you hear it, it's like,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408gonna
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408gonna take everybody's job and nobody's gonna have a job and nobody's gonna have a job." And I'm like,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408like,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408in, are these people talking about? How's the AI gonna take m- somebody's job? How they gonna take my job," right? And then after the third time, I'm like, "Oh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408"Oh,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408they're gonna take my job."
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408it and I was like, "No, not if you're really good
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408if you're really- Interested in getting it right. I mean,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Right.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm gonna say this, and
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408this. You
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408back 'cause I pitched this idea to you, Jeremy, and it was,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408But you're
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408if
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408just saying that you don't even have a general idea of where to start and it gives you a complete idea to go. And it's
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408if
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408if you can do that much,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408you're in
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408in great shape. But what it doesn't do
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408what the human
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408is what you and I do. We look at the subtle
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408the
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408we want. It's the little things that you can see immediately.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408that
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408didn't computer
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408computer-generated will
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408of the Rings" or "Game of Thrones." It's the subtleties of a wrinkle where I know in my mind there's a wrinkle
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408that there are certain things a computer, AI, in my mind so far,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408artists can
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408do, and it's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408in the computer in my mind looks like this. And it's these
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So that's my
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408things that, um, that always leave those. So that's why I think it's so scary.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408far. Well, the
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408the computer is joking the way my
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408version of
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408mind works because it only can set down the
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408that's a beautiful way
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408parameters you want it to.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408and it is, and there are instances
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you know,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408where it does, you
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408whatever. You put the room in, you put the front
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Or more.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408put
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Or whatever it is.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Most of
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408of what I have
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408look at it-
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408there
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408there are imperfections in what AI
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. And,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408But
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408But then when you get it to where you want and you show a designer
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and say, "This
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408and say, "This is what I want."
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408well,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408are you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408are
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408pay
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you saying, "Well,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408how
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408how elaborate do you want?" Seriously, how elaborate in that picture do you want it to be? Or do you just like this?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of it?
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408uh,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So, you know, even when I'm looking at,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you know, I like to look at real estate listings and things like that,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that skull that you showed me. Mm-hmm.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408'Cause you can just tell
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408You can tell they did it. I
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408so
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408so if you're smart about it, you know what the computer crap is.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408real. And I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And you can pick and choose what it is.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408on a
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Something I posted recently. Oh,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Chet
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408She ripped it and now I have to do something about that. I was reading and
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it said, "Oh, it was generated by AI." And
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408at it and I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I looked at it and I went, "Yeah, it's your job in Vietnam."
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I looked at it and I go, "Oh, great." And I'm like, "I am so cool." Well, so g- when you,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you were,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408this discussion about to talk about this, I did,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408did,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408uh, you, you did say something like, "Well, you
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408like,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408know, I think it did pretty good." And then, and I did
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I did
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408like, uh, kick back a little bit
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408clue. Mm-hmm,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And, um, I didn't see what you--
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408what you were
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that you were talking about. But why this was really fitting for me at the time is because I'm getting ready to start-- I'm taking this,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408was, uh, good
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408in using AI for business purposes, but in an ethical way.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408way.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And, um-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408There's a whole lot of
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408information
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408one little phrase, so I'm curious to
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408There's a whole lot of Yeah. Well, yeah, well, we'll get into a lot of it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of it.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408But,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408But
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408to talk to you, I was like, "Well, I wanna know what-- first was what y- what you think
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408think
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408AI is and how it works." Because I think before we can even
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408a conversation
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408about does it work, what it does for you, you have to understand, like, how you think it works versus how it really works. So what do you-- how do you think it works?
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I don't even know how to get AI. Is it an app?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408there's no s- there's no surprise for this.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408a-
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, AI,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408what it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408is a broad term, and
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it applies to a lot of different websites, right? So there's
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408there's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408there's Claude, there's Grok, there's Perplexity, there's Gemini. There's a, there's a lot of different platforms that do it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408can do it.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408there.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yep.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408ChatGTP
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yep. It's the most common, yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408so I do have that on my phone,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408it just the other day.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay. All right.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. Okay. All right. Cool.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408where... I th-- What I...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408AI in the world and killing it and didn't even know it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408We
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408m- probably, but not by that much. Uh, uh, not, not knowing how much you're probably using it. Um,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408much.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408where I think what most people misunderstand how it works is it's not...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Stuart.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408All it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408is basically a to- think of it like an intern, and the intern has read every book. It is, it's an intern that's read every book in the world and works instantly, but has no judgment, and you still have to manage it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408So-
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Right.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408It has
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408It has all the rules. Well, no, it doesn't have rules. It makes up rules. It makes up shit all the time.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that's what I'm saying, but it has no confines as to where to use them. Like-
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408but it makes up a lot of stuff. Yeah. And so where it, where all AI pulls from are from all websites. So you gotta think about all the shit that's out there. Yeah, like-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So AI is like a 13-year-old boy.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408boy.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408just stays up all night, uh-huh,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408and reads
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408reads
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408every blog post, article, anything that's ever been written, LinkedIn posts, social posts. It re- you know, it reads it, and it re- it can remember it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408But the problem is it reads everything, and so it doesn't know how to decipher what's incorrect versus what's correct, what's, uh, a faulty Wikipedia page, what somebody's gotten really mad about politically and then put shit out there. Like, it,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408so it doesn't have that,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that bound on it. So that's where it's kinda like it, it, like if you think it's an intern that's read everything and it knows everything, and it doesn't know everything. But it knows a lot of the stuff that's out there,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408there,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408but it has no confines or no guardrails to know how to use what it's, what it has access to. And that's where you have to step in and give it
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408things.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So it doesn't have discernment.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408correct.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Gotcha.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Unless you give it, unless you tell it, and then you have to...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408have to...
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Th-this is the other thing I've learned about it so far, is
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408is
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408only as good as what you put into it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408a lot of effort. So the discussion of it taking people's job, 100% correct. It's gonna take some people's jobs Absolutely. It's going to do that because it's gonna make certain things more, um, efficient, and it's gonna take less hands to do
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that. Some of
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408some of the data research.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408example,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, for example, for yes-- Okay, two days ago, I am redoing something on the website, and, uh, I needed to utilize the reviews that w- had been made for, uh, that had been submitted for all of the products online. And I was trying to pull,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408All right. What's the
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and...
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, what I would have liked to have done was looked at every review that was left,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408left
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408found the top five best ones for each product, and be able to highlight those on each product page. Now, we currently have two hundred items, I think when I looked that day,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408day,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408and,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408200 might make it that
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408stock. Imagine now going through some of these that have a hundred and fifty, a hundred and sixty, two hundred reviews,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408each
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408through all of them, finding them, finding the ones that work the best, and then being able to group them
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408them
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408because they're not all together, and then figure out which ones and then post it.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408mining for information,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Your
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408them for the information. Correct.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So I was able to do this with, in, in Claude the other day in about thirty seconds.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Wow.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Wow.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Not hours.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And so I was able to get through.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408get through.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408had to give it a lot of parameters and a lot of information, right? And so that's what it's really meant for, what it's really good for, is to, to be able to mine, analyze.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408The 10 minutes or five minutes, 30 seconds it got you the information, how-- it would have taken you hours,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Oh, yeah, days.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408one
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Days.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408or days.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408many hours
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408or how much time did you put into it thinking about it or putting in there to give it the parameters? it just take you 10 minutes to give all the
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Five minutes, five minutes or less.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So a five-minute process, putting the right information in there saved you two days worth of work.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. At least a day and a half. Yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Gotcha. Okay. Yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408But who, who would have done that job, though? So how did that waste somebody or how did
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you th- Okay, so it may have been not one person's job, but you gotta think about all the roles and all the things that people do. I'm sorry. As you've been talking, I typed in my message- Uh-huh to come up with a
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I, I'm sorry. As you've been talking, I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408story.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in my ChatGPT
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And I
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408come up
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408just
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408us three. And I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408typed
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in descriptors of us three to show us three in a podcast.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408the story about you
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Duane
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408show
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408now.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408a story in Claude.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Well
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Example
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I have a
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408how it's wrong.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Uh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408okay.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408this
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408do I have a good
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Uh, no, you're bald. I said you were bald.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408gonna
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408So...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Of course you would, you'd put
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408say
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408there, wouldn't you? Of
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you're straight shot.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408see this.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Hmm?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Oh. Oh my God, and I'm massive.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, I said you were tall with
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I said
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408hair.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you were tall and coiffed your hair. Well, it coiffed my titties and my stomach
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408my tummy.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Oh my God, that's hysterical.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408look
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408And look
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408like me.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408he's a little
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I know he's a little... He, his, his eyes come up to my... We'll, we'll post this picture. Make sure you save that, Stuart.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408post this
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408look like Terry.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. But a shortened ver- a shortened version.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Terry. We
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408the only,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you. What my
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408here's what my... Stuart has silver gray hair and glasses. Jeremy, who is
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408tall with
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408with thick, lush hair and glasses.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And Dwayne, who is shorter and bald.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408And that's what it came up with. Apparently, it just decided to
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408But why am I shorter? I'm 5'10". I'm just average.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Well,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408This is not time to have a men's i- Sh-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408on, moving on.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408a descriptor to put in there.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay. Well, I'm s- I'm glad that it's scripture. At least you didn't say as blonde and dumb.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Oh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408if we were a TV series, these are the people who would play us, I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Lord. Um, so...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408go. I knew there was something in my DNA, I just didn't know.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408B- but, okay, so but
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408What you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408said, Dwayne, was you were, you hit it right on the money when you were talking about analyzing and mining the data. So what it was,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it was,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you know, meant for, built for originally, was this concept of being able to process large amounts of pro- of information.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm stuck on being Black, right?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408slides.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408you're mining, you're
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you're mining.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408you're
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408meant for
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408do
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408mining and analyzing lots of data, 'cause that's what it can focus in and do, 'cause it's finite, like when you give it the data, right? So when it comes to interior design, it is scanning images of things that have been put out there.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408there.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So if you ask it to design a room, it's
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408taking what it has seen, what it's processed, to try to fit the question you've asked.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So if it believes it answered the question, it'll give you a picture. So that's when somebody asks them to design a living room with a sofa and, you know, whatever, it's gonna give you that. If they say something modern, like it's gonna... Whatever descriptors they give, that
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408given, it, the, uh, the AI engine has given like whatever image,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408like
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it's gonna pull those things in.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408put that
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408ChatGPT,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Any of them.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So if I type that in, it's gonna give me an image? 'Cause
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408like
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408typed it in the other day and I
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and I
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I just thought ChatGPT was just words, verbiage, but
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you can do it, you can,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408they, they all do
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408all do
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408image stuff now.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay. Okay. Okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408okay. You know,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Gotcha.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Um, some of, some of them are better than others, but,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408but,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it, it... That's the interesting, they're all not equal. They all do certain things better than the other. Um, and you some- a lot of times have to use all of them
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408times
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408w-where you have to, where you're wanting to get. But,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408get.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408um, it's not a tool that I think... When you can take a picture of your living room and give it the dimensions and say, "This room is this size. Um, give me five options for furniture layout." And it'll give you five little furniture layouts. The problem is, what it doesn't understand is it doesn't understand scale, it doesn't understand pathways.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408they m- they might not all fit,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Right. And so what it puts there...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in there.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. And so it-- what, what it really is...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408not useful then. That's, that's a dud.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, it's good for inspiration. So it's for brainstorming, for, um, outlines, for give me inspiration, you know, or summarizing text. 'Cause a lot of times, like what I've started to use is like if I,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408like if
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408if I've got a customer who there's an issue with, let's say, an order, and I'm trying to take care of them,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408take about half an hour, um,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408sit there and type,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it's j-
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408me--
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I can just get... Well, you, you hear me on here, I can get lost in my words. Sometimes I get stuck. You say I'm g- gonna go in a circle sometimes.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Um,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408talk.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408talk.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Basically, "Here's the, here's the context. Here's what I need. Summarize this and fix this text." And then it will summarize and fix the text, and it'll make it much more coherent than me.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I, and it-- and listen, my-- and our friend Tanya, who I love and adore,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and adore. Um,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408she would just be like, "Just think. Just think. Use your brain." And I don't disagree with her, but at that moment, I don't have time to do that.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408to do
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I don't have the brainpower to do it. And so that's where trying to use it for things where I just, I can't and I need to move forward, is instead of trying to do it with every single decision, right? Doing it with everything.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408you how I used ChatGPT for the first time last week. Uh, those who don't know, uh, my daughter's getting married this summer and,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408um, we
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408w-we have, uh, son-in-law to be is creating a QR code and he's creating a landing page, and it gives you all the information. It tells you,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408how to
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408where to park,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408to expect when you get there. It tells you,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408tells you,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408just general information, right? So I typed those things in and it,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Because there were so many layers of where the bathroom's gonna be, where the tent's gonna be,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408know,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408how to walk to the ceremony, where to park. I mean, there's lots of paragraphs of this stuff. I could have spent hours on trying to surmise all that, and I just didn't have the time or, like you say,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408say,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408time or energy. I just typed in a few little keywords and it came up, spit it out paragraph after paragraph, uh, and surmised it in these seven or eight, 12 paragraphs, whatever they are, and I was able to send it to him in a 10-minute thing, as opposed to me having to sit there and think about it for an hour and a half, two hours that I didn't have.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408have
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Normally, I would sit there and write it out and do it, because I don't need a computer to tell me how to write something and think something. But I used it because I had such a tight window I had to get it to him very quickly. That's why I used it. It wasn't about being not to think, and it wasn't about being lazy, 'cause I'd rather do it on my own, and I'd rather use my own m-memory and mindset, because I can
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408verbalize
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408write things. I don't need the computer to do that.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408do
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408But at that time, it was a
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408a time-sensitive reason.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408so there are some people who just don't know how to
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408how to write.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408write or can't write. That's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408so there are certain rules
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408and
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that you don't want to use style sheets because it's not controlled. Then you can use Preact. So I get that. But for
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408generalized, I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I would not use it all. Like how
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408because I'm
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408don't need
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408said, like what Brain said, you just click the
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm creative enough to think and I know how to write down." Well,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408cat. I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408this out. I think that they were,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408the
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408if you were to implement
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408with,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it, let go of
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408And that's one of the thing that popped in my head, and then that's scary.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408scares me.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408That becomes scary.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408It is scary.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Because if you're letting a computer think for you, if that's where we're headed toward,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408to,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm not sounding old, but that's scary.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it, then I think that's a problem. Well, now hold on, hold on. Let's, let-- We got--
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408this said, the, the, the people that are your age and a little bit older were the ones that always said, "Don't belie--" And first of all, I agree with
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408with
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408okay, know that first. Like, you can't believe what,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408what you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408kicks out 'cause I've seen that it's, you know, wrong.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408from the
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408the pe- the people that said, "You can't believe everything you read on the internet," are now the people that believe everything they read on the internet.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408saying-
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408My age?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408think so.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408is, yeah.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408age and older.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I don't believe... Uh, okay. Okay.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408by, um... Okay, so I just-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408opposite way. What I read on the internet now, and it's
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I hope this is right. And like if I repost something, I'll even most of the time give a caveat to say, your own facts. I'm posting this. I think it's real. I don't have time to go look it up." Uh, and I got in trouble with that. Somebody called me misogynistic and racist, and you know who you are.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408But
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408But I appreciate everything
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408what, but
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408a web of
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408what,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408we weave.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408but... And I agree with everything you said, but you are in the minority on that. I really believe that. Just seeing-- Because we're so insulated now with what programs we watch, what
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408what
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408news stations, it's not like it used to be, right?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408right?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Um, and so there's... So the only reason why I'm saying that is because
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408wanna push, I don't wanna label younger people as the fools that believe everything they read online or they don't think, because I don't believe that's true. I, I believe that they have a, a better understanding how to use the technology and to use it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408they have a
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I didn't-- First, I didn't say any of that, but secondly, I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408no, I know, I know that.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408if, if they, if they, yeah, I said if they use that as that tool, then they're in trouble.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. Oh, abs-- Yes.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408right? It's an if. It's an if.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in trouble. Yeah. Yeah. Well, so, uh, you know, I had a few weeks
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408few weeks ago,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408somebody
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408somebody wanted plants in their balcony
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yes.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you know, artificial
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408whatever it
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408to
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408is, water down to multiple, multiple levels.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408So I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Such as the palm trees. And they come back with,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408"Oh,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408"Oh, I like those."
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Can you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And you may add those to the front lawn.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408see what they actually
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And see what they have to say. And I said, "How much does it come back with?"
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408"Well, it's gonna
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it could be anything from eight to however I can
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408for you."
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408add." And I said
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408but that's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that's the only way that this person is gonna like the fern and the palm tree.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm like, "It's a fern in a pot." There wasn't... It
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408There
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408a palm tree.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408flowers. It was a fern.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm like, "How do you see
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm like,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it?"
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408"See how you see it at Lowe's?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408But so I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408so I just thought it was interesting.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that that was the only
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408only way they
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408decide to go forward or not go forward with an AI image.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408could decide to
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408person is probably 40, I think, at, a little younger.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408now
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408forward was to go with the palm tree.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408just got one.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408was before. Well, and you know, we've discussed on here before how some people can, they can use their mind's eye and they can see it, right? Like they, they can visualize and other people can't. So I can see how that would be useful to somebody.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408how that would be useful. Well, I
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408He's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408but it's a fern.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408the deck.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408It's a way to prioritize. I know.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you know, Vics on their porch. But that's not what it
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408four
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408that one's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408how
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408ferns.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it was.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408here's an interesting- So
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408know why you can't see that.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408why- Here's an interesting, what you were talking about, uh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408where I th- what I thought you were gonna say when you started mentioning somebody working
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408working
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408on their deck and asking about plants. I thought that they were gonna ask what plants were safe, like non-poisonous for animals or, you know, th- things like that.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408a logical
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408That,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408question.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that's where I thought it was gonna go, right? And I thought to myself, I know
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408thought to myself, "I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that would be a question that people would prompt.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408up with."
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408The, the issue is that I have seen it give different answers because it depends on what lo- what web- websites it goes to. Exactly. And so that's where I'm like, you have to...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408to...
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408not, it's gonna do the thinking for you. It can analyze data. If you have the finite data that you've got, if you have it there, it can analyze that. It will be a start. If you need it for anything else, it's a starting point. It's a good brainstorming session.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408It's not a definitive answer Right.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you've got to do the research beyond that to confirm that
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408the actual data that's in there is, that's accurate, right? And I think that's where a l- the number one mistake people fall in with AI,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408got,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408is they think that, "Oh, it's gonna do it all for me."
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Right.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408It, it doesn't work that way.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it's a jumpstart.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408not Wegovy.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408It's like my morning co- yeah, it's like my morning coffee. Don't ask me a question before it, 'cause you're gonna get a different answer after it. So, 'cause I'm just not firing all pistons until
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. So now that we know that,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408can search things, it can show you
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408ideas, it's a good place to brainstorm, I do wanna talk about the eth-
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408the
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408the, the ethical on two, on two rounds,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408parts of two, two branches, uh,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408two- on, like, two subtopics. The, the big question and that's going on right now is, you know, and this happened with a lot of,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408authors, book authors when th- their books were, uh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408to,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408they were using that text to originally start training some of these AI models. And what these AI models, these, these websites are called LLMs, large language models, is what it stands for, and so they have to train it with words, and so they were using books to do that. Well, the authors that wrote these books that you can now find if you go into ChatGPT and you ask about, you know,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408about different
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408this and this, it can pull up the text from the book. Well, those people didn't buy the rights to the book to put it in there, so there's this copyright infringement
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Hmm!
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Do they have the right to do that? Do they have the ownership to it? And it's the same thing with images,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408too. Interior
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408design, all that. Because this stuff was made, it might've been on somebody's website, and they didn't submit it. They didn't give permission for it to be uploaded into it, and now all that stuff is now in a program that can then be pulled from and someone else to try to profit off of.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And so that's o- the one big concern. And this is, it's just, it's kind of odd 'cause, you know, one of the ladies at work, her daughter works in the fashion industry, and she has talked about time and time again that,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408um, the designing, the, the design house that they work in,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408um, which is a very small, uh,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408uh, business,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408they design high-end fashion, and that stars are photographed in these
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408these
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408outfits
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408by paparazzi.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408by paparazzi, and then the image may get back to them, and then they may share it on their Instagram. They then get sued for sharing an image, even though it's their dress or their outfit, because the paparazzi's the one that owns the right to the image,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408And
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408sued.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Hmm I think
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408one was
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408was, like,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408the last time they got sued. And again, this was, you know, it was already out there. It was already out there on the,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408on the internet.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So there's this question of
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of like
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408who owns the rights? There's actually, there's an,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408an,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Amy Vermillion, she's a,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408an, um,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408interior designer, two days ago did this whole story on Instagram that she had a client, they were looking at Thermador appliances and had the website pulled up in their office and was looking through for, um, a stovetop,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Photoshop.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408and that somebody at Thermador had taken one of the kitchens that she had designed, changed out the cooktop
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408cooktop
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408to another one of theirs, and put it on their website to sell it. Well, she's designed it The photographer had rights and sold his rights to her, okay? So she couldn't use it for anything aside from hers. So now she paid for all this, he's out money, and Thermador's out there making money off of it s- schlepping
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408their thing. And we all know Thermador can afford
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408take a fucking photo shoot,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408sell these folks-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So it's that kind of like, okay, this is people's work, livelihood. So it's also like you can't go on and say, "Design this room as..." Uh, and I don't wanna say Ralph Lauren 'cause I think that one's been so bastardized. But if you s- you wanted to go and say, "Okay, design this room like..."
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408okay,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408room like McKinney Childs. Design this room like Suzanne Kessler." Right?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408this room..."
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408angel.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Right? Do that as she would. Then is it,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408where does it fall with what it gives you? How far over the line is that of it then going into her images and copying what she's done to give you a design to do it?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408vision?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408is where when people just wanna do that, you can't s- you can't...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408be
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408you need to be inspired from, not copy.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you know, for copying. So
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that may be a little more grayish
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408a situation.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408of a situation, but...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408a little gray. That's a-- That's got me like, "Oh, that's real gray."
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah, exactly.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408And at the end of the day, um, honestly, what's gonna happen is all that information and imagery that's going out there, that's already in there, people have already lost.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408What
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408authors have lost,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408lost is the, the, you know, the money.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408lost
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408for
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408because it's,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408most part,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408for the most part, right?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408We're, we're dealing
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408with,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408now with lawsuits with, Facebook or what is it? Uh, Meta, right? And how they have purposely
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408unbelievably
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408children,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Right.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408um, caused harm, and that we know this.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and there's
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408much ha- I mean, there's lawsuits happening, but the government's not stepped in basically.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408But
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408And we're asking for the government. The only way it's gonna be regulated is through the government.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408And our government
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408They make too much money. They make too much money, and they give too much money for it. It's when...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Right.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I, I, I don't wanna go down that rabbit hole, but
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408hole
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408you can put a D or an R on it, but at the end of the day, uh, the very few, uh, that are in power can be trusted anymore because it is all m-money driven.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408are in power can't be trusted anymore because it is all money-driven.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408we're in a sad place.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So for, for me to sit here and believe, "Oh-" This will be regulated and it'll be stepped in and I will be protected or the author will be protected.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and it'll be stepped in
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm not holding my breath on that one.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408regulated or
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408think
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408not holding my breath. It's, it--
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408it's too far gone because AI, the, the Googles and the, the Apples are in the White House, right?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in the White House. Sure.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408It's the,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408gonna be regulated, right? They're not gonna be regulated.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408They're not the
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm not even pointing at a president. I'm just saying that's a fact. Is that true? It seems that way at least.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it's
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408the digital version of pharmaceuticals.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408probably regulated rather
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408exactly what it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408than unregulated. I'm
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408right
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408not even pulling that question out of the sky. That, um, is that true? It seems that way. Yeah, it's the digital version of pharmacy. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So right now there's a big lawsuit with Elon Musk suing OpenAI. They're the- OpenAI is the people that have J- ChatGPT. And Elon Musk, which first you all know I'm not a fan of him. He's never, ever gonna be a, a good figure in my life. But,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408But,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408um,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408it's called Doge, so
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408yeah,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408go.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Well,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408well, that's gone. But anyway, ultimately, he,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408the, the ramifications of that's not gone.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408he donated, um,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408sold negative
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408wanna think $38 million to OpenAI when it was originally, uh, getting in, because OpenAI was going to be a, uh, a non-profit.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408They invested in it
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Invested in it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Yes.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Invest, invested in it.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Um,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408believe it's 38 million. It may be 38 billion, but I really do think it's million.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it was a million 'cause I remember hearing this in NPR.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408S- So it was, um, origin- it was originally was started with Sam Altman. The idea was that they were gonna create this open source, meaning that other people could get into it, use it,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408um,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408um,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408help with all kinds of things. It was gonna be, you know, this wonderful thing, right? Like this idea of this...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Yes.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408and, and basically what AI is, except that everybody would be able to have access to it, right? So it was g- non-profit. That was, that's the big, the key to this.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408non-profit.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408As it goes, they then create a profit entity. Okay, so
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408So
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408still do have a non-profit, um, part of it, and it owns 25% of the profit from the other side. And then they say that's what brings, that's what pays and d- does whatever.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in and does whatever.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Elon Musk is pissed because he's saying it's not what they originally said. Now I-- this man has no ethics to stand on, right? Ultimately, one way or another.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408ground. Um,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408but what I really think it comes down to, and again, it's money, is because, um, oh, what's his name? Uh, ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408uh,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408b- uh, Brockman.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Brock,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408that's it. Brockman. Uh, the president of,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408uh,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408OpenAI right now,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408now,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408they're not
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408worth or his value in the company was $30 billion.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408gonna let anybody
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So anytime you get something that's this big that, that has money, it's gonna go off the rails
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and we're gonna-
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408are gonna... No. No, they're not gonna... So that's where I'm like, it's so big and it's so, and
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it's, it is dangerous when it's not gonna be, when it's not regulated. I really think that. So s- something eventually is gonna have to happen. Um,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Don't
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408but it's onl-
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408not-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408your
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I, well, I'm not gonna hold a brea- hold our breath, but it's, something has to,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408to
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408going to be a huge issue. And the o- the other part of the issue with it is the use of natural resources on it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So the way that this, these work is that there's, you know, data centers, right? So there's basically big ass computers, lots of chips, lots of power. It consumes lots of power. Every time you ask a question, every time you prompt something, it uses a little bit of energy. It goes back and forth, right?
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408right?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408It is now so many programs, so many... Anything you use has some kind of form of AI involved with it now.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408some way.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Everything. I mean, literally everything. So in 2024, I, uh, 'cause I did a little research coming into this. So in 2024, the world used 415 terawatt-hours of electricity. Okay? So I know
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I know
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408these are numbers that we don't really understand. We're just gonna say 415, okay? It's, that's a, a fuck ton. Okay? It's a lot of... You think this is the whole world. They estimate between now and...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408number one more
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408415, 415,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Four fifteen. Okay,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408415. Between, um, now and 2030, a year we could add another 200 terawatt, I think. So it's going up 50%
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_09040880%.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay? Now,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Now,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408the reason why this is the biggest, the, the big concern is because the current chips, all the data centers that they have, um, they, when they run, and they're running constantly, they get hot,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408and they have to cool them down.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408down.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408how do they have to cool them down? They use water.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408We use water. Water.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So on some of the largest data centers, they can use up to... Hold on, I wrote it down 'cause I wanted to make sure I didn't get any of this right.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408slide.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408use five million gallons of water a day. That's the equivalent of a 50,000-person city a day just for one little data
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408God.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408center. Okay? So we know that,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408like, even the Colorado River, because they've had the slightest snowpack they've had in years, and that feeds a lot of areas when it comes to water. Water is becoming more
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of an
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408of an issue inside, in the US. For an ex- Just so you can understand,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408can understand, New
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408City, uh, a year uses 56 terawatts So quadruple what just New York alone does, that's what they're gonna try to add on
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408top of the, on top of
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408top of the year, and it just keeps growing
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yearly.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408yearly.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Wow.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yearly.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay, so I hear that and then it says to me I need to stay off of ChatGPT, GTP or whatever these others are. And if I do need to use
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408to
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408it. It's a
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408right?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Use it as a tool, but don't on there and ask every dumb question, and don't ask
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408"What
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408a fern look like in a pot on a deck, right? Is that fair? I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yes
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408words, use it spare- Like, if you really care about the world, right? And I can't-- Well, I'm not talking to the audience that doesn't care, right? That, That's, not who my audience is. But if we have an influence, what I'm, guess I'm hearing is use it. Use the tool. It can be a useful tool, but don't use it for every dumb thing that every whim that comes to mind. Use your mind or get a piece of paper and write it out, because you are destroying the world every time you turn it on and you use something and ask a question. Is that too extreme?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408No, I
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408No,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I don't think it's too extreme. I do wanna also then
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408then
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408it a little bit further r- quickly, right? Because it's not just the electricity that you're using to, to, to do a prompt. It's also the energy that's then powering your device. Okay? So you gotta think, again, this AI's being used in almost every capacity now, right? So it's just like you, just being more cognizant. So
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408if
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408at home watching, streaming Netflix, you're using data centers.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Right.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay? So, um, one hour of Netflix streaming, depending on the size of the television and what you're watching, so if it's something that's
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408in
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408super high res and you've got a big ass TV versus if you have a small, you know, whatever,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408know, anywhere,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408is anywhere between 100 and 300 prompts on ChatGPT, for example. And, and it's a rough range. Again, it depends on the language models.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408rough,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408So
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Uh, I
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408gonna be using...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408this.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408has an
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408using electricity
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408this like
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408whatever you do, right? But we've got to be a little bit more cognizant and not be putting ourselves in Barbie boxes and making cartoon figures of ourselves. Like if
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408But
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408if this is really revolutionary and it can help us mine,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408he just turn me into a Black man? Yeah.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I was like,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408he did that once. He did it once. But, and that's where I'm like, like this is not something that you
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408that
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408just, you know... Let's be cognizant.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408your hand. That's
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408what we're doing, right?
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408no. Oh, no.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408No,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408There's an awareness now, 'cause I'd have no idea,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408right? If I'm aware, I can be reactive. If I didn't know this, then I, um, innocence. But now that you know this,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you can
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408just make a conscious thought,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. Yeah. And you know, a lot of these, like y-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I'm not preaching, I'm not doing any of that. But it's
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408saying
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408okay.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408we
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408I can tweak, I can adjust now that I have knowledge.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408And
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408And
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I think the biggest thing I take away from it is, you know, like you can sign up for ChatGPT, you can sign up for all these, and they have a free program. Basically, you can do it up to so many.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408many...
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Oh, by the way, with Claude and a lot of them,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of them
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408they do what they call throttle. You can only use so many, so much energy in a certain window period of time. And once you max out, they freeze you out because they don't want their data centers to melt down.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408It...
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408This is true.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So it's not altruistic, it's not a worry about the world, it's about they don't want to destroy their
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah. They don't want to destroy that. Um, so but the, the-
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408what I just
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Just been working on it. You
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408four
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408like four
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408and then it says, "I'm sorry, you don't get any more for 24 hours."
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Mm-hmm. Yep. But it doesn't like- Mm-hmm. Yeah. Is it true
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408it doesn't let you do it again.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408on all of them
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Now, is that true on all of them, or can you buy something to surpass
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408or is it
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408buy
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408There's memberships on all of them.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408yeah.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408memberships that you can get to get more use.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408So if you wanna d- really destroy the world, you can get bypass that and pay for it and then...
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you wanted to really secure Send in
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408be ethical, right? But, so the, there was a quote that I saw that people say like, people think that AI is free. It's not free.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408played like this
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408costs of energy, there's costs of natural resources, there's costs of humans. There's like the-- It's not something that's free, even though it's promoted as this tool that we can use to do all these things. So if you approach it in a way that you wanna be more responsible, I think you'll be in a much better space.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Fair. Fair.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408my show today.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So...
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay. This has been fascinating. I, I've, I've--
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408When I saw I was gonna walk away with it, but I almost feel like I walked away with
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408something more
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408more than that because of the awareness of that.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408of,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408worried about the
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408worried about the
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408job. The job almost
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408don't have a
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408didn't matter. Like what the job was. But at the end of the day,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408anything, I'm,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408I walked away with-
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408the understanding of, uh, the resource issue, uh, that sounds, uh, pretty, uh, pretty
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408looming,
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408if I'll say that that way. Yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Thank you.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408new job that's coming out of this, and they're called AI architects. Um, and they are people being hired by companies to purely
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408like a
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408take care of all their AI stuff. So there are, there's, you know... It's, anyway, it's, it's complicated. To continue.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408you still need a human brain
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Yes. You have to have humans to run it.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408what AI is giving
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408You have to have humans, yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408have a definitive answer.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408So if people out there listening, if they got a company and they're like, "Oh, we're gonna replace all y'all with AI," good luck. They have no clue. It shows how much they clearly don't understand how AI actually works. So... All
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Okay.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408Well, hopefully y'all didn't have any doom and gloom. I h- I hope, hope today that maybe some people understand a little bit more of what it is, and maybe my mom knows that it's pronounced AI and not just I.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408I hope you guys AI is not for the hive. Um, because, you know,
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408'cause you know, there's a lot of people who don't know anything about it, and there's no judgment. It's just it gets thrown around like nepo baby or your birthday.
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408Yeah,
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408or your
dwayne-guest895_1_05-07-2026_090408yeah.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408Or your birthday.
jeremy-host8_1_05-07-2026_090408All right. Well, I hope you all learned something today, and we will see you next week. Have a good one, guys. Thanks.
stuart-guest832_1_05-07-2026_090408guys. Okay,
